Mevlut Akkaya (Executive Producer) learned his craft by working with critically acclaimed European directors from 1988 to 1994. He taught acting at The Duisburg International Center in Germany from 1990 to 1992. He wrote, produced, and directed Manwolf in 1992 at the Tribeca Lab Theater in Manhattan and has worked (as actor and director) with various theaters in NY including The Vineyard and La Mama ETC. Mevlut is a graduate of Anatolian University (Turkey), Dortmund University (Germany), and Brooklyn College (for Motion Picture Production). Since 1996 Mevlut has focused on cinema and has worked in various capacities for several independent films as well as commercials. His films have been screened in such respected film festivals as AFI Film Festival, Sedona Film Festival, Kino International Film Festival, Oceanside Film Festival, and L.A. International Film Festival. He is the current producer and co-producer of several independent feature film and commercial projects, including Following Bliss, Cola Turka (Starring Chevy Chase), Death by Committee, Over-Heard and Toss Up (Distributed by Warner Bros.) Mevlut is the founder and director of the Digital Film Academy, Digital Film Center, NY Turkish Film Festival, Artistic Director of the NY Brazilian Film Festival and the programmer for the Skip City International Film Festival, Japan. He is also founder and president of Maya Entertainment Inc. and Reversed Films

MEGAN SANCHEZ-WARNER

Megan's experience spans the realms of Television, Independent Feature Film, Commercials, as well as Theater on both the production and the creative sides.

In television, Megan has served as Producer on numerous primetime reality/documentary series. In 2005, Megan served as Series Producer on the series "The House of Fatty Koo" for SONY/BET for 13 episodes; in addition, she Produced a series pilot for VH1, Ego Trip's "The White Rapper Show".

In 2004 Megan held the position of Senior Producer on TLC's hour-long business reality series, "Taking Care of Business" for Granada Television USA; she also served as Senior Producer on BRAVO/NBC's one-hour reality gameshow "Things I Hate About You" for Wall to Wall Media. Previously, Megan also served as Supervising Producer on the documentary series "The It Factor" for 2 seasons with Zanzibar Productions for BRAVO/NBC.

Prior to entering the realm of television, Megan freelanced in-house at indie stronghold Killer Films, working on such films as "The Grey Zone" as Production Supervisor, on "Series Seven" as Production Manager, and additionally on "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" and "Women in Film." In addition, Megan spent time freelancing in the commercial and studio film realms, doing projects with numerous companies, including a position in-house at New Line Cinema.

Megan has Produced spots for Repertorium Films/Pinnacle Pictures such as "The Gift of New York"/ NY Giants, "The Agent" for A Taste of Art's Short Film and Video Festival, "Quisqueyana" for Quisqueyana Cigars, and others.

Megan has also Directed projects through her company Pinnacle Pictures such as the Tribeca Underground Film Festival jury award-winning short film "THE STREAM"; her personal film work has shown at festivals such as Woodstock, Women in the Director's Chair, Festival of Festivals, Female Eye and others. Megan is also an award-winning writer on various other film projects (Winter, The Stream, Side Effects).

Signe Baumane

                                          Signe was born in Latvia, lived there till she was 18 then  went to Moscow to study Philosophy where she obtained BA in Philosophy .

In 1989 Signe started to work in Riga¹s Animated Film Studio as a cell painter and part time animator. From 1991 to 1993 she received three grants and produced her first 3 animated films.

In September  1995  Signe left for New York with three of her Latvian films tucked behind the belt, looking for independence.

As soon as she arrived to New York  she got the best possible teacher of Animated Independence - Bill Plympton, in whose studio she started to work in January 1996.

Signe worked on his 3 features and countless shorts and learned a lot how independent animation studio works. She also learned how to make  animated films independently from government grants - fast and cheap.

With the lessons learned Signe started producing films on her own and regularly travels to festivals with the films. 

Her interest in promoting her own and other independent animators work extended into collaboration with festival programmers. She is a  programing adviser for Florida Film Festival, Red Bank International Film Festival, Woodstock Film Festival. She has initiated and curated numbers of independent animation programs and is in the organizing core of Square Footage Films - New York  group of independent animators that self publishes and self distributes DVDs of their work.

She has been invited to be a Judge in Red Shift Film Festival in New York 2004, Florida Film Festival 2004, Annecy International Animated Film Festival 2004 and Ottawa International Animated Film Festival 2004. Signe Baumane is a 2005 fellow in Film from the New York Foundation for the Arts as well as a Member of Academy Of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Gregory Pace

Greg Pace started his career producing a local TV show with youth at risk on Long Island.  He later met Alec Baldwin and was hired as his assistant and soon after promoted to Director of Production for Baldwin's El Dorado Pictures, where he developed and identified new projects. He was Associate Producer on The Confession, with Baldwin and Ben Kingsley and served as a liaison between Baldwin and various studios and producers during the filming of Ghosts of Mississippi, The Edge and Mercury Rising. He left El Dorado to start his own production company, Kismet Films, where he produced Race for Glory The Story of Drill Team Racing, Overnight Sensation, Don't Explain and Seven and a Match (assoc prod), as well as three short films: including one with Joel Schumacher Productions. The company is in development on several features and in production on its second documentary.  With Kismet's commercial/corporate division, he has produced commercial spots and corporate films for clients including Proctor and Gamble, Stacy¹s Pita Chip Co (a Frito-Lay company), J.A. Henckels Cutlery and Cable Positive. He has won a ProMax Golden Muse Award, TV Cares Award from Television Academy of Arts and Sciences, an ADDY and a TELLY award for his commercial productions. In 2003 Pace founded the Golden Wagon Film Festival and was appointed to the Suffolk County Film Commission in 2004.  Pace received his Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University and has a Master's in film and television production.

Angela Tucker

Angela Tucker is The Director of Production at Arts Engine, Inc. She was the Outreach Director and Associate Producer for Deadline, an Emmy-nominated documentary film that was shown on NBC¹s Dateline and The Sundance Channel. She is the Line Producer for Phil Bertelsen's latest documentary about The Alvin Ailey Dance Company to be broadcast on PBS' Great Performances this June. She produced the narrative short film, Shook, which was shown on Showtime and won awards at The Oakland Film Festival and The Juneteenth Film Festival. Currently, she is developing a documentary about African-American women with bipolar disorder that has received funding from The Paul Robeson Fund for Independent Media. She received her M.F.A. in Film from Columbia University where she received a Dean's Fellowship, a grant from the Academy of Arts and Sciences and two Milos Forman Finishing Funds awards. Angela is a member of New York Women in Film and Television.
